Samsung Galaxy C8 pro launched with dual cameras, 16MP front cam:, Bixby voice assistant with ful specs



Samsung has announced a new dual camera phone. This one is Samsung Galaxy C8, a mainstream phone that also comes with a 16-megapixel front camera.Samsung has announced a yet another dual camera phone after the Galaxy Note 8 and the Galaxy J7+. The new phone is the Samsung Galaxy C8,  a mainstream device that is expected to arrive in India soon. Ahead of the launch, The Galaxy C8 was subjected to several leaks and rumours, which suggested that the phone would come with two cameras at the rear.
For now the smartphone has been launched in China and for now Samsung has revealed only the specifications of the device. No price and availability details are officially announced but we know that once Samsung has listed some phone on its website, the availability is within weeks. In India, it is expected that Samsung will launch the Galaxy C8 in a month or two.Also it is likely to come with a price tag of little over Rs 20,000 in India. This phone will replace the C7 and the C7 Pro in Samsung's Galaxy phone range in India and those two phones sell for little blow Rs 25,000 here.
As noted earlier, the Galaxy C8 comes with dual-camera setup on the rear. Samsung has been late to the dual-camera game. But since announcing its first phone with the dual cameras -- that was the Galaxy Note 8 if you recall on August 23 -- the company has quickly moved to make up for the lost time. Within days of the Note 8 announcements, the company came out with the Galaxy J7+ and now it has outed the Galaxy C8. 
The Samsung Galaxy C8 comes with dual camera setup. The primary camera comes with a 13-megapixel sensor which is paired with an f/1.7 aperture lens. The secondary camera uses a 5-megapixel sensor along with an f/1.9 aperture lens. On the front, the new Samsung Galaxy C8 comes with a 16-megapixel sensor which is further paired with an f/1.9 aperture. The dual-camera system of the Galaxy C8 comes with Dual Photo mode. In other words, similar to what is there inside the Galaxy Note 8, this camera mode lets users adjust the focus of the picture even after capturing the image.
Apart from the dual cameras, another key highlight of the Galaxy C8 is its facial recognition feature. The facial recognition technology allows users to unlock the phone with their face. The smartphone has been announced in two variants. The base Galaxy C8 are 5.5-inch Super AMOLED, Always-On display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution, coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB or 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Samsung has gone with a 2.39Ghz octa-core processor on the Galaxy C8, though it has not specified the model. The smartphone has a 3000 mAh battery. variant comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, while the higher-end variant of the phone has 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage space of both the models of the Samsung Galaxy C8 can be expanded to up to 256GB via a microSD card.In terms of specifications, both the models only differ only on the RAM and storage front. Other specs of the phones remain the same. Although price will also be different with the 4GB variant expected to cost more. 
As far as the core hardware is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy C8 comes with dual-SIM support. It sports a 5.5-inch fullHD Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. Powered by octa-core processor -- it is yet to be specified whether it is Exynos processor, a MediaTek or Qualcomm Snapdragon -- the Galaxy C8 runs on Android Nougat operating system. The smartphone uses a 3000mAh battery.
The Galaxy C8 also comes with a fingerprint scanner which is embedded in the home button at the front, right below the display. The Galaxy C8 also comes with an always-on display. On the connectivity front, the smartphone comes with range of options like -- 4G connectivity, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm headphone jack, and micro-USB port. The phone also comes with Bixby support.
Samsung has announce the Galaxy C8 in three colour options, which are -- black, gold, and pink.
