What is X-Ray Spectroscopy!!

Image
X-ray spectroscopy is a technique that detects and measures photons, or particles of light, that have wavelengths in the   X- Spectroscopy? This X-ray photoelectron spectrometer uses the principles of X-ray spectroscopy to measure the elemental composition of materials. X-ray spectroscopy is a technique that detects and measures photons, or particles of light, that have wavelengths in the X-rayportion of the electromagnetic spectrum. It's used to help scientists understand the chemical and elemental properties of an object. There are several different X-ray spectroscopy methods that are used in many disciplines of science and technology, including archaeology, astronomy and engineering. These methods can be used independently or together to create a more complete picture of the material or object being analyzed. Aliens life might be so advanced that we can say magic, according to these days science.

Image
We've never seen aliens... Or have we? No, Roswell conspirators, not now. Please sit down. We're talking in multitudes of higher complexity. Try this on: Maybe aliens are the puppet masters behind the laws of physics. Or maybe aliens  literally are  physics. Just when we thought we had a grasp on the fundamental constants of the universe,  boom , dark matter rips off the mask and it's E.T. Too crazy to be true? Prove it. Magic, Shmagic British science fiction writer and futurist Arthur C. Clarke famously formulated three adages known as Clarke's three laws. Of them, number three steals most of the spotlight: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Consider cavemen for a moment. If you hand-delivered an iPhone to an ancient cavedweller, he'd be dumbfounded at the "magical" device. But give it some time, and Fred Flintstone would probably start tweeting and Snapchatting. Now let...

Something incredible is just happened on the International Space Station, covered by NASA

Image
A NASA astronaut had to deal with problems with a frayed tether and a bad jetpack as he conducted a treacherous spacewalk. There was some high drama on the International Space Station on Friday, after a spacewalking astronaut had to deal with some major problems due to a bad jetpack and a frayed safety tether. Jetpacks and safety ties are critical for astronauts trying to maneuver during spacewalks and to avoid floating off into space, and astronaut Joe Acaba had to deal with problems with both. Acaba was attached to the orbiting outpost and wasn’t in any danger during the spacewalk, which lasted seven hours, but one of the tethers had to be replaced shortly after he floated outside as Mission Control noticed the lifeline was frayed. And then five hours later during the spacewalk, Mission Control noticed the right handle on the emergency jetpack had popped open, prompting station commander Randy Bresnick to help him out. However, back in Houston, flight controllers decid...

Image
Flipkart One-Upped Amazon This Festive Season; The Figures Are Mind-Boggling Except Shopclues, festive season sale is more or less over for Flipkart and Amazon, India’s two of the biggest e-commerce portals. Which portal was able to sell the highest? Which one was able to attract most number of users? These are some of the most common questions which are generally asked after such massive sale campaigns. This year, Flipkart has already declared their massive victory over Amazon in terms of sales volume; and some reports have emerged which actually supports Flipkart’s claims. On the other hand, Amazon has declared this festive season as their best ever, but haven’t exactly challenged Flipkart’s claims. Flipkart: We Have Beaten Amazon As soon as the festive season ended, Flipkart declared their emphatic victory over Amazon, and the margin of this claim is what makes it super interesting. As per Flipkart, during the 5-day Big Billion Day, Flipkart garnered 70% s...

Elon Musk throws down the gauntlet and challenges Mercedes to spend more than $1 billion on electric cars.

Elon Musk throws down the gauntlet and challenges Mercedes to spend more than $1 billion on electric cars. News broke last Thursday that Daimler, Mercedes' parent company, was investing $ 1 in its Alabama  plant to  start building an electric SUV in 2020. Many outlets said the investment was an obvious challenge to Tesla, a formidable competitor in the US' electric space that plans to build its own compact SUV, the Model Y in 2020. Tesla CEO Elon Musk, however, begs to differ. "That's not a lot of money for a giant like Daimler/Mercedes. Wish they'd do more. Off by a zero," Musk said on Sunday on Twitter. Musk has long welcomed competition in the electric-vehicle space, saying it will help speed the growth of sustainable transportation. He open-sourced patents in 2014 as part of that aim. Musk's comment supports his stance that automakers with a bigger cash cushion should do more to advance electric cars. "It doesn't r...

Motorola releases camera turning app for the upcoming Moto x4.

Image
Motorola releases camera turning app for the upcoming Moto x4. It's common for device makers to tweak the performance of a phone's camera after release, but it usually requires a full software update. However, last year Motorola used an app in the playstore  to make changes to the Moto G4's camera. It looks like the company is taking a similar approach to managing the camera on its upcoming Moto X4. A tuning app for that phone is live right now ahead of the phone's officeal lonch. This app doesn't do anything for you unless you have a Moto X4, and no one does yet. When someone  does  have the phone, there will won't be any interface for this app. The screenshots in the Play Store simply have the system settings page and a placeholder image. According to the listing, this module will be used to improve "color, contrast, picture noise, video noise, and sharpness." The Moto X4 has a dual-camera setup, but it's a different one than we saw...

Now Use WhatsApp in Facebook, Facebook New Feature😎😎!!!

Image
Facebook is testing a new WhatsApp button in its main app Facebook appears to be running a trial that features its subsidiaryWhatsApp a lot more prominently in the main app. Users are reporting seeing a dedicated WhatsApp button in the main Facebook app on Android. When clicked, the button acts like a shortcut, opening WhatsApp without the need to leave the Facebook app. TNW has since obtained images of the feature. Here is how it looks: In case you were wondering, the dedicated button can be found in the menu area. If you happen to be one of the users in the control group, it should appear at the top, right under your name. But chances are not everyone will be able to see it yet. The shortcut is currently being tested on the Android version of the app, but it could very well be available to some iOS users too. According to Arvind Iyer, who tipped us off to this development, the WhatsApp button showed up after he switched Facebook’s languag...

Its raining diamonds on Uranus and Neptune.

Image
People often talk about it "raining money" or getting "pennies from heaven." In reality, if riches did fall from the sky, you'd be too busy running for your life to appreciate your good fortune. That's exactly what happens on Uranus and Neptune, two of the most mysterious planets in our solar system. Scientists say that they have solid diamond rain. The first thing you notice about Uranus and Neptune is that they're blue. That comes from the fact that along with hydrogen and helium, their atmospheres have large amounts of methane. Scientists think that when lightning storms strike clouds of methane (good ol' CH4), carbon atoms break away from their chemical bonds and float through the air by themselves. These lonely carbon atoms begin to collect in clouds of soot that sink into the lower reaches of the atmosphere, where the pressure and temperature around them steadily rises. Eventually, the forces become so great that the carbon atoms squeeze ...

A new Superconductive "Skin" gives Robots a Sense of Touch!!!

Image
A new Superconductive "Skin" gives Robots a Sense of Touch!!! YOU GOT THE TOUCH A team of researchers from the University of Houston have created a new type of “skin” that allows robotic limbs to feel hot and cold. While still in development, it could potentially give those with prosthetic limbs the ability to feel again, as well as lead to more advanced medical equipment. Assistant Professor of mechanical engineering Cunjiang Yu and his team worked on the project, with their findings published in the journal  Science Advances. As the team explains, most semiconductors — both organic and inorganic — are mechanically nonstretchable, which makes this discovery all the more impressive. Their research has produced “the first semiconductor in rubber composite format that enables stretchability without any special mechanical structure,” said Yu. The artificial skin was made using a silicon-based polymer known as polydimethylsiloxane, or PDMS, and a hardened mate...
