HMD Global, at the launch of Nokia 8 announced that all the Nokia smartphones launched in 2017 will taste the Android P upgrade. Company’s Country Manager, Shannon Mead confirmed that all existing Nokia smartphones including the Nokia 8, Nokia 6, 5 and 3 will be upgraded. However, Google is yet to announce the Android P update. Google  is expected to announce the next iteration of its Android operating system at company’s annual I/O event in May. However, the final roll out for Nokia devices won’t take place until November next year. HMD Global recently unveiled its Nokia 8 smartphone for the Indian market at a price of Rs 36,990.
