For many other companies and parts of the economy, AI systems are too expensive and too difficult to implement fully. hat’s the solution? Machine-learning tools based in the cloud are bringing AI to a far broader audience. So far, Amazon dominates cloud AI with its AWS subsidiary. Google is challenging that with TensorFlow, an open-source AI library that can be used to build other machine-learning software. Recently Google announced Cloud AutoML, a suite of pre-trained systems that could make AI simpler to use. Microsoft, which has its own AI-powered cloud platform, Azure, is teaming up with Amazon to offer Gluon, an open-source deep-learning library. We've never seen aliens... Or have we? No, Roswell conspirators, not now. Please sit down. We're talking in multitudes of higher complexity. Try this on: Maybe aliens are the puppet masters behind the laws of physics. Or maybe aliens  literally are  physics. Just when we thought we had a grasp on the fundamental constants of the universe,  boom , dark matter rips off the mask and it's E.T. Too crazy to be true? Prove it. Magic, Shmagic British science fiction writer and futurist Arthur C. Clarke famously formulated three adages known as Clarke's three laws. Of them, number three steals most of the spotlight: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Consider cavemen for a moment. If you hand-delivered an iPhone to an ancient cavedweller, he'd be dumbfounded at the "magical" device. But give it some time, and Fred Flintstone would probably start tweeting and Snapchatting. Now let...

This helps Google remain competitive with other search engines on the Web and reduces the chance of someone finding out how to abuse the system. Click on images to search something Google uses automated programs called  spiders  or  crawlers , just like most search engines. Also like other search engines, Google has a large index of  keywords  and where those words can be found. Buckle up, buddy. You're in the future now. Researchers have found a way to read a bird's brain and predict what song it's going to sing next. University of California, San Diego scientists  announced  they were able to "decode realistic synthetic birdsong directly from neural activity." The team claims this is the first prototype of a decoder for complex, natural communication signals from neural activity. And it's the first step towards some pretty ambitious goals.
