HTC ocean master!!

Image
HTC Ocean Master!! The HTC U11 and HTC U Ultra might not be the only flagships from the company this year, as a Twitter user has posted about another apparently upcoming phone, said to be launching in November and packing high-end specs. The source, going by the name “Corn Chen”, is new to leaks, so we’d take this with a huge pinch of salt, but he claims that the phone is called the Ocean Master (though this is likely an internal codename rather than the launch name) and that it comes in two configurations, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, the other with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Both models will apparently have 6-inch screens and come with a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing one. Those specs make it sound a bit like a larger version of the HTC U11 – which has a 5.5-inch screen, a 12MP camera and also comes in both 4GB and 6GB configurations, though the latter is only available in a handful of countries, so it may well be...

Connecting to a free Wi-Fi may compromise your privacy, its not always safe..

Image
A key flaw in the WPA2 WiFi encryption protocol that allows hackers to intercept your credit card numbers, passwords, and sensitive information. The flaw called Key Reinstalled Attack or Krack Attacks is found in the WiFi standard.  All the devices using WPA2 encrypted WiFi networks are vulnerable to the attacks. WiFi networks record the MAC address of connected devices, these MAC addresses can easily be carbon copied to impersonate the mobile devices. Any device connected to a router using WIFi can be exploited using the vulnerability found in WPA2 encryption.  The report published by the security researcher, Marthy Vahoef, and Frank Piessens talks about these serious vulnerabilities found in WPA2 protocol. Faking the MAC address and forcing it to connect to the fake WiFi network is an easiest to cause 'man in the middle' attacks. If the device tries connecting to the original network, the hacker can even force to bypass it and re-connect it to the rogue one....

A UK retailer is offering the phone for £399, while in the Netherlands the initial asking price is €469 .   UK stock is expected “by the end of October” so very shortly. The BlackBerry Motion comes with 24 months warranty across all EU. It comes in Black, and the memory available is only 4 GB RAM + 32 GB storage (at least microSD slot is available). In recent weeks Google and Apple brought the eSIM into the spotlight by including it within their latest product launches, the  Google Pixel 2 ,  Google Pixel 2 XL  and the  Apple Watch Series 3  with Cellular. The eSIM gives us an improved and more secure customer experience, better designed devices, opens up new market opportunities for operators and enables entire new categories of connected devices. Let's explore this baby in a little more detail. The eSIM/Embedded SIM, or as it's more formally known, embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card (eUICC), is smaller again at 5 mm in length and 5 mm in width and is soldered onto a device's motherboard at the point of manufacturing while having the same functionality as a removable SIM. Razer gaming smartphone leaked, see specs.

Image
A ll the way back in January, Razer acquired smartphone startup Nextbit for an undisclosed amount. Nextbit's only product to date was the Robin, so the natural assumption was that Razer wanted to get into the smartphone business. The company is expected to announce something big on November 1, and a new leak seems to confirm that a smartphone will be revealed.  A  Razer-branded smartphone. Supposedly, the image is from an unnamed insider working in the gaming industry, who received the device for game testing. This isn't coming from a usual trustworthy source, but it's interesting nonetheless. The company's signature snake logo is present, with what appears to be dual cameras and a flash at the top-left. Nextbit's DNA is clearly present, with the phone having the same blocky design as the Robin, and what appears to be the same volume buttons at the bottom right. Other details about the phone have been leaked, but nothing from reliable sources....

OnePlus 5T New leaks specs and features!!!!

Image
OnePlus 5T New Rumours!!! T he rumours around the OnePlus 5T are now coming thick and fast. Although an earlier report noted that this year OnePlus will not launch the T version of its phone, of late the chatter around the OnePlus 5T is so strong that it seems that report was not accurate. The OnePlus 5T is indeed coming and it is going to have a slightly revamped design with an almost bezel-less screen that has a aspect ratio of 18:9. This information is revealed by a fresh render of the phone leaked by Slashleaks. The leaked render shows the front of the device, with an edge-to-edge display that looks very similar to what we have seen in the V20 and the V30. Interestingly, the image also shows that OnePlus 5T may not have the fingerprint sensor on the front. If these rumours are accurate, it is also almost certain that the OnePlus 5T will come with a display that is bigger than what is there in the OnePlus 5. It is even possible that the OnePlus 5T may come with ...

Qualcomm takes a $773 hits on fight against apple.

Image
The Taiwanese Fair Trade Commission has fined Qualcomm NT$23.4 billion ($773 million) for antitrust violations. This is one other major defeat for the chipmaker that’s currently embroiled in a complicated legal battle  against Apple and other tech firms. And local regulators keep hitting Qualcomm with fines, seemingly siding with Apple. Whatever Qualcomm says about Apple’s actions, these fines will undoubtedly hinder its defense. Qualcomm’s bottom line and the stock could also take serious hits. According to  Bloomberg , the Taiwanese regulator said that Qualcomm has been violating antitrust rules for at least seven years, during which time the company collected NT$400 billion ($13.23 billion) from local businesses. The regulator said Qualcomm abused its position by not providing products to clients who don’t agree with its conditions. The Taiwanese FTC also told Qualcomm to remove the deals that forced local competitors to provide price, customer names,...

Google Home mini is violating users privacy, recording 24*7 itself.

Image
Smart speakers might be selling in millions, however, the safety issues with the device persist, especially in the absence of any government restrictions on internet-of-things devices. The recent discovery by Android Police’s Artem Russakovskii who was reviewing the Google Home Mini speaker, just before its launch, that the smart speaker had abruptly started recording him 24/7. Google has acknowledged the problem after Russakovskii  published  his account on Tuesday, but the whole issue exposes the larger issue when it comes to smart speakers. Smart speakers are generally programmed to respond to certain voice commands such as “Ok, Google.” Only when such commands are given, do the onboard microphones on the smart speakers start recording the user’s response. The user can also give a command by holding his/her finger on the top of the speaker. In this particular case, the smart speaker misinterpreted that the user had his/her finger on top of the smart speaker al...

What is Li-Fi? Everything you want to Know!!😮😮

Image
7 With Li-Fi around, Wi-Fi might be a thing of the past By  Christina Mpercer  Jul 20, 2017 | Light Fidelity or Li-Fi is a Visible Light Communications (VLC) system running wireless communications travelling at very high speeds. Li-Fi uses common household LED (light emitting diodes) light bulbs to enable data transfer, boasting speeds of up to 224 gigabits per second. The term Li-Fi was coined by University of Edinburgh Professor Harald Haas during a TED Talk in 2011. Haas envisioned light bulbs that could act as wireless routers. Subsequently, in 2012 after four years of research, Haas set up company pureLiFi with the aim 'to be the world leader in Visible Light Communications technology'. How it works Li-Fi and Wi-Fi are quite similar as both transmit data electromagnetically. However, Wi-Fi uses radio waves while Li-Fi runs on visible light. As we now know, Li-Fi is a Visible Light Communications (VLC) system. This means that ...
