Intel Readies Core i3-7360X, A Dual Core Kaby Lake-X Processor For The X299 Platform – Features 4.0 GHz Clock Speed and 112W TDP If you thought things couldn’t get any more weirder on the Intel X299 platform, you were wrong. It looks like Intel has silently been readying a new SKU for the recently launched platform which does not come close to the meaning of “enthusiast” in any way. Intel Core i3-7360X Dual Core Kaby Lake-X Processor For The HEDT X299 Platform In The Works To be known as the Intel Core i3-7360X, the processor comes at a really weird time. Intel is going to launch their 14, 16, 18 core processors in a couple of weeks and their Coffee Lake desktop family is also headed for launch in early October. So cramming a dual core chip when the replacement Core i3’s are going to feature high core count doesn’t make sense, or does it? If you thought things couldn’t get any more weirder on the Intel X299 platform, you were wrong. It looks like Intel has silently been r...

Facebook is testing a new WhatsApp button in its main app Facebook appears to be running a trial that features its subsidiaryWhatsApp a lot more prominently in the main app. Users are reporting seeing a dedicated WhatsApp button in the main Facebook app on Android. When clicked, the button acts like a shortcut, opening WhatsApp without the need to leave the Facebook app. TNW has since obtained images of the feature. Here is how it looks: In case you were wondering, the dedicated button can be found in the menu area. If you happen to be one of the users in the control group, it should appear at the top, right under your name. But chances are not everyone will be able to see it yet. The shortcut is currently being tested on the Android version of the app, but it could very well be available to some iOS users too. According to Arvind Iyer, who tipped us off to this development, the WhatsApp button showed up after he switched Facebook’s languag...

I f you hate bezels but love HTC, it's been a bad year for you so far, considering the  U11  and  U Ultra 's screen-to-body ratios. But good news may be just around the corner, if a new report from France is to be believed. The Taiwanese company is still working on new smartphones, despite  the confusing Google buyout  of some of its hardware engineers and designers. In fact, just a couple of days ago we heard that it  plans to announce three new devices  by the end of the year. One of those will allegedly be called U11 Plus (codename Ocean Master). This is said to be the first HTC handset to adopt the premier trend of 2017, namely 18:9 aspect ratio displays with minimal bezels. The U11 Plus will have a 5.99-inch panel made by JDI, with 1,440x2,880 resolution. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 835, still Qualcomm's No.1 chipset, aided by 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage, depending on which model you choose. ...

BEST 8 GB SMARTPHONES ONLY FOR YOU!!! It wasn’t that long ago that 8GB of RAM was considered a pretty sizable amount even for a computer, but here were are in 2017 and now 8gb ram smartphones are a thing. While it might arguably be an overkill situation right now, more RAM is never a bad thing, especially if you plan to keep your phone for several years. More RAM doesn’t necessarily mean you’re totally future proof, but it certainly helps. So who is making phones with 8GB RAM right now? Surprisingly, it’s not the big boys like Samsung and LG. In fact, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features 6 GB of RAM, while the LG V30 “only” has 4 GB. The majority of phones with 8 GB of RAM come from smaller companies that want to make their devices stand out from the crowd and more appealing to consumers. If you’re in the market for a phone with 8 GB of RAM, you’ll be happy to hear that there are already quite a few of them to choose from. We’ve compiled a list of the ...

What is screen burn in and how can you prevent it? If you spend long enough debating the merits of LCD vs OLED display technology, eventually someone will touch upon the subject of dreaded OLED screen burn in. The point made is that OLED displays will inevitably suffer from horrible looking artifacts over time, while LCD won’t. But like most of these debates, you’ll probably hear as many overblown anecdotes as you will actual facts about the issue. You may never have experienced it for yourself, but many consumers are wary about the possibility of burn in when pondering their next expensive smartphone purchase. To settle any concerns, we’re going to answer all the key questions – what is screen burn in, why does it happen, and what can I do to avoid it? What is screen burn in? The name “burn in” is a little misleading, as there’s no actual burning or heat involved. Instead, this term is used to describe a display that’s suffering from permanent discoloration ac...

THE BEST BRAIN- TRAINING GAME!!! In 2014, there was big-time drama in the scientific world. An international group of scientists published an open letter claiming there was no science to back up claims that brain-training games could improve mental function. A few months later, another group of scientists published their own open letter arguing the exact opposite—there's plenty of evidence that brain training works. Add in the fact that both groups used many of the same studies to back up their claims, and you have an old-fashioned scientific feud on your hands. To solve the dispute, a team of researchers performed what's known as a comprehensive review of the literature; that is, they looked at as many studies as they could find, including those used by both groups, to determine what the big picture actually showed. Their conclusion? Brain-training games certainly improve performance, but only on those particular brain-training games. If the game has you match cards,...

Two Black Holes Orbiting Each Other Are Surprisingly Close to Earth😰😰!! The pair of supermassive black holes each weighs more than a million times the mass of our sun. In early 2016, a group of scientists from the LIGO observatory made an incredible announcement: They had  detected gravitational waves —ripples in the fabric of spacetime—from the collision of two supermassive black holes in another galaxy. This discovery was momentous not only because long-sought gravitational waves finally had been discovered, but also because nobody had ever seen two supermassive black holes orbiting close together before. Since that announcement, a few groups of astronomers have discovered more supermassive black hole pairs. And now scientists from Pune University in India and Rochester Institute of Technology have spotted the closest pair yet. The newly discovered black holes are a mere 400 million light-years away, in a galaxy called NGC 7674. So 400 million light-years may ...

The United States will be getting its first taste of Android One very soon. Today, Google and Motorola announced that the Moto X4 will be coming to Google’s Project Fi wireless carrier with the stripped-down Android One treatment. The Project Fi Moto X4 will cost $399 and come in two colors: black or silver. It will be available for preorder starting today. The Android One version of the X4 is a little different than the one Motorola is selling in Europe and other parts of the world. It has a “pure Android experience”, which means that it lacks some of the enhancements that Motorola adds to its Android phones. You won’t find Moto Voice, Moto Access, attentive display, or one-button nav options on the Fi phone, but it will have Motorola’s helpful gestures and some display customizations. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Fi X4 will not have Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant either — the Google Assistant will be the only voice assistant option on the phone. The Fi Moto X4 is launching wit...

Apple 8 and apple X drawback against Samsung galaxy s8!! The new iPhones won't be able to tap into the super high speeds the carriers are building into their networks. Apple  presents the iPhone X as the "smartphone of the future." But at least in one key area, its new phones fall short of Android phones that have already been out for months. The  iPhone 8 ,  iPhone 8 Plus  and  iPhone X lack the ability to tap into a superfast wireless network technology called Gigabit LTE, confirming a  CNET report  from earlier this year. Meanwhile, there are 10 Android phones, including the  Samsung Galaxy S8 and  Galaxy Note 8 ,  LG V30  and  HTC U11 , that boast the ability to reach a theoretical peak speed of 1 gigabit per second. That's the highest speed offered by internet service providers, fast enough for you to download a two-hour movie in 15 seconds. Apple confirmed that the new iPhones will be able t...
